Your Story.
Everyone has a story. You are unique and created with a purpose and along the way your story is written. No matter where or how you came to know Jesus, your story matters! Everyone will have a different story, but the most important thing is sharing it. Your life before Jesus, how you came to Jesus, how He changed your life, and how He can do the same in the lives of those you share with. In scripture we see many examples of how Jesus changed lives. Often, we see those people go and share their story with their family, friends or neighbors. Sharing your 'testimony' is just one of the amazing ways God can use you to reach others with His gospel.
Prepare to share your story
Your story is powerful.
Jesus told a man whose life he transformed, "Go home to your own people, and report to them how much the Lord has done for you and how he has had mercy on you," (Mark 5:19, CSB).
After Jesus talked to the women at the well she went and told others,"So the woman left her water jar and went away into town and said to the people, “Come, see a man who told me all that I ever did. Can this be the Christ?” (John 4:28-29)
Sharing your story is fun and easy. Here is a great way to do that.
Write 3 things that described you apart from Christ.
Then, describe. the Gospel (remember last appointment) and how and when you responded.
Finally, write 3 things that you are now because of Christ.
Summarize with a short sentence.
