Love.
A four letter word that has had an impact on every human that has ever lived. Whether it is lack of love or a joyful abundance, humanity has struggled to define this word. As a believer we have the perfect definition; God. The Bible says in John 4:16 that "God is love." There by being the perfect definer of the word since He alone is perfect. But how can we learn to love, and understand it? Draw near to Him and study the Word. Getting love right requires knowing and spending time with the One who is Love.
Read the following passages and then consider the questions at the end.
In Mark 12:29-31 (CSB), Jesus described the most important commandments saying, “The most important is Listen, Israel! There is no other command greater than these.”
In John 13:34-35 (CSB), Jesus said, "I give you a new command: Love one another. Just as I have loved you, you are also to love one another. 35 By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.”

The one who remains in me and I in him produces much fruit, because you can do nothing without me" and "“As the Father has loved me, I have also loved you. Remain in my love. 10 If you keep my commands you will remain in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commands and remain in his love."

Love does not envy, is not boastful, is not arrogant, 5 is not rude, is not self-seeking, is not irritable, and does not keep a record of wrongs. 6 Love finds no joy in unrighteousness but rejoices in the truth. 7 It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. 8 Love never ends."
